Look into Zephyr for metal polishing. They are top of the food chain as far as I'm concerned. You could always send them out to get coated as well.

So I ordered some 15x10 wheels/tires for the rear in an attempt to cure my traction woes lol. JEGS is having a sale on the wheels right now:

The tires I ordered were 295/55r15 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials, but they're on backorder for a while. I know bias ply is ideal for launching a M6 car, but I do 99% of my driving on the street and am afraid of running something like QTP's on the rear with stock 17x9.5 radials up front. I want to avoid skinnies for now. If people are complaining about sway at the strip, they'll probably kill me when I romp on it on a crappy PA highway in the middle of the night. Maybe a stiff wall bias ply and tire tubes makes them more compliant? Not sure, but I can't seem to find something that's DOT legal for highway use (DOT Hoosier's aren't) so I don't get impounded @ OCMD and in the proper size (27-28" on a 15x10").

I might switch to M&H's 275/60r15, but they might be too skinny for a 10" rim. Seems like the compound is stickier and the sidewall is less rigid than the ET's which could be a good compromise.

we run a mickey thompson radial pro 275/60/15 on a 15x10....but we are auto and i went faster/hooked harder with a 275/40/17 et street r on the camaro, and damn near pulled the wheels with the same 17" wheel/tire on a 13 second pass in the bird LOL

Are those wheels shank lugs or acorns?

They're acorn lugs like stock. The hubs should be sized to fit the axles.

So I've decided to ditch the MT ET S/S for either a ET Street R or M&H DOT Radial. Both would be 275/60r15 on a 15x10. Leaning towards the M&H because they look less deadly in the rain, but I'm trying to figure out if the R's are better/worse by googling around. Whatever has the looser sidewall will do it for me.

@SSlowBoat how did the radial pro fit in the quarters? I still have my bumpstops, although I did grind the mounts a little.

You guys running 1/2" studs? I know 5/8" is ideal, but I still want to roll around on my C5 wheels and the larger studs complicate things. I currently have Moser's 1/2" studs but was going to upgrade them to nicer 1/2" ARP's if they'll hold.
