Fair, just know you can't use it for the fuel tuning aspect of the "learning"

I'm aware, only using it as a reference for tuning manually. The OE narrowbands were super useful for double checking weird phenomena.

More pics: Spectra 98 tank, internal baffling, and a new LT1 fuel hat to be gutted (I needed a new level sensor). Racetronix parts are PTFE/SS -8 feed and -6 return, their larger filter housing with replaceable element, AN/ORB/QD fittings, and bulkhead harness.20220302_201727.jpg20220302_201657.jpg20220302_201038.jpg20220302_200627.jpg

I got it through Rockauto, it was about $300 shipped after discount. Spectra GM27114C. Going to find out if this LT1 pump assy fits later today. The 98 and 97-earlier brackets look the same in the stock photos as far as I can tell.

    Hopefully this fits w/o issue:

Finished gutting this thing for now. Got to inhale a bunch of fiberglass, pretty neat.

Need to make a heat shield for the coils or maybe wrap the last primary. Other option is putting the coils where the battery is, but I dunno if I want to go down that rabbit hole.

Also debating how I'm going to secure this plate from the engine bay side. The welded nuts on the firewall complicate things. Option 1 is to grind them flat along with the inner lip and drill extra holes nearby to hold the plate. Option 2 is to design a 3D printed spacer (made of several puzzle pieces) to clear the nuts/lip and get it printed with fiber reinforced nylon. Also, I'll die before I pull the dash so don't ask why I'm doing everything the hard way.

What about nutserts and a washer for spacing past the lip, then goop it to all hell with RTV. Then just bolt panel to the nutserts

We have the same hvac delete panel, hopefully it fits haha. Mine is still in the wrapper with the dash hanging. One of these days I'll get to it.
