Default can i use these valve springs with this cam?

so i have a custom grind comp 224/236 502/520 cam with a 114 lobe sep, and im going to be running comp cams .550 lift dual valve springs, is this a safe thing to do? since ill only have .030 before i get coil bind?

doing this cam swap as youre reading this but taking a break untill after the holidays,

Depends on the spring pressure also.

Spring choice usually depends on the lobe the cam is using moreso then just the max lift, but with a mild cam like that you should be fine.

Just be sure the lift you are using is with the rocker arm ratio you will be running. If that .520" is with 1.5 rockers then with 1.6s you would be .554 and over your springs rating.

right now im using stock style rockers, and i know that lowers the rating a bit, but ill be upgrading to 1.7s whenever i find a decent set for a good price,
