Houston (and surrounding area) LTx knowledgeable shops
Does anyone know of any shops in the Houston area?
I am looking to get my intake port matched to my heads, new rockers, springs and 7/16 studs. Upgrading my injectors and fuel pump. New clutch kit. maybesome chassis upgrades.
Any help is appreciated.

I am out in West Houston, so not far from you at all. I can't think of any one that touches LT1 cars in Houston. Best bet is to do it your self.

^^^^Most common except for the cooling system flow. But for what the OP is lookin' for I agree. I haven't lived in H-town for almost 11 years, but I had a method of tryin' engine balancing shops and automotive machine shops in the yellow pages to start, and ask about references.

My cousin said theirs a shop in Tomball and mechanic shop, not a hot rod shop, down the road from me in Clear Lake that has worked on a turbo LT1. They said they would work on mine when I wanted someone else to do my 24x conversion. They also said they have two mechanics that are into fast cars and modding so they are able to work on that stuff. Tomball is to far from me so I never looked for it and if you want me to get the info for the other shop down the road I'll look, but I know it's far from you.

383z.... what shop are you referring to in Clear Lake? I'm in that area, and am curious of whose around to do engine work/builds.
