Project: Xtreme Street LT1
As some of you know I have been fighting various issues with the black car over the last few years. In the past 10+ years I have had the car it has been in the hands of multiple mechanics and shops to modify or fix various issues, and due to this it had electrical issues and other damage I was having to work around. I also wanted to have a car that I could enjoy on the street again, local cruises, picking the kids up from school, etc. The black car just ended up needing more than I was able to give it for the moment. So its time to retire her for a while and move on to something else.
The new build is meant to be something I can play with, drive around town, as well as hurt some LSx feelings.
1994 Pontiac Formula I bought a bit over a year ago for a daily driver. Came with a built 4l60e, 3800 vigilante converter, LT4 Hotcam, and 2:73 rear gears. All in all not a bad car but not what I wanted the end product to be.
First thing I did was pull the original drivetrain out (ALL OF IT) cleaned and repainted the undercarriage and engine bay.
Rear suspension and driveline: Moser 12 bolt w/3:73s, LCA, Spohn Panhard, BMR xtreme TQ arm, OE Springs, sway bar (undecided at the moment), QA1 shocks
Motor/transmission: Solid Roller 396, AFR 227s, LT4 intake, Hedman stepped headers, BMR K-member, A-Arms, and steering rack, QA1 shocks and springs. Goebel 700r4 FMVB
Interior: Red/black seats (don't know what brand as they came with the car), Wolfe 6 pt cage, modified console to fit my aftermarket shifter
Exterior: Suncoast Ram Air hood. The car needs a full re-spray as the clear coat is peeling in spots but that will have to wait till I get the rest of the powertrain/suspension completed.
Hope to have the car completed in the next few months and on the track very soon.1994 Formula, 396cid, AFR 227's, Single plane, and 2 of the big ones.

Yes the car will get a plate kit. Don't know what to expect out of the car, but it should run well.
