I used to like them when i was a kid but now I'm more of a Honey Bunches of Oat kinda guy....wait....Smack, not Smacks. Oppps.
I'll run if I have everything dialed in by then but I'll just run my car and not my mouth. It's the quiet ones you have to worry about...Last edited by Sahara54; 09-06-2013 at 06:17 AM.

I do I have both the street stock and bracket title at the moment. The way I look at it is if u set ur goal to go to the shootout early. Start Budgeting/saving now. $20 here $10 there goes a long way put it aside to afford the trip. Then you will be able to make it. The last 3 years I pre-registered. Not 100% sure I would make it. But I made it a POINT to make the race. Found a way to get it done and make it. To attend events like these that's the way you have to treat it. I applaud every racer at the LTX Shootout because believe it or not it becomes almost a full time Job to prepare and be ready to make the event and race. from Budgeting, planning, and building.

Yeah my problem hasn't always been money vs just having enough time to get things together. Going to school, working, and having my kids stuff/wife's stuff going on too makes it tough to get anything done. But I'll be pulling some long nights to get everything ready to go for next year.

Gunning for true street next year, should be a solid turbo LTX showing me thinks.
