Dad bought the car and it really was as nice as the pictures it was in, he had me look it over and drive it and I told him what I saw and how it drove he bought it for $4250.00.
I dont know about him but I drove the 70+ miles back looking at him in the rearview with a smile on my face.
I told him I will get him a thumb drive and put together a care package of info on the car including an owners manual, shop manuals ect for a 94 Corvette if anybody had digi copys please let me know.
I also expect him to be joining us out here soon too as he was already asking me how much a blower would be for the car!

Pulled the intake tonight to reseal it and cleaned it all up and the engine looks really clean inside, crazy last 2 days off and I did an 03 4.6 Explorer intake replace and then a Corvette LTX intake LOL. Now what I talked to Dad about was getting the Vette to run mid 11s and so now I need opinions on what way to go, do we go with a stroker N/A setup or with a blown or turbo setup? Dad does not want to spend a truckload of cash and I figure mid 11s will be VERY fun to drive around everyday without killing the budget. Chime in my friends and let me know what you would do in this situation.

I say...start by seeing what it runs now. then we can see what it needs to get to the goal.

I'm with Popo. Course in the meantime you can do the basic bolt-ons since no matter how you build it they will usually remain on the build.

1997 GMC Jimmy- 4.3 V6 - syty turbo setup

So far it has had the airbox mod and I did the TB bypass to it lastnight and I am looking for exhaust stuff for it now. I car feels like its a low 14 - high 13 sec car now so it has quite a way to go yet.

Dad had me pretty much talked in to getting 1 of my own but good judgement got the better of me. I am looking at it like this, I already have a car that we can cruise in and go places and it has more room in it than a Vette so now I need to get on making it move out better than a Vette.

Well I ended up with the Corvette after my dad passed away on thursday and he had an issue with it not starting. I guess I am going to go get it sometime soon after I finish dealing with funeral ect. I decided to keep the car since it meant so much to him. This is the worst way to get a nice ride I ever saw......................
