So is this reality TV, "scripted reality TV" or just 100% fake?

I can't get into it, not even going to try. All these reality shows are just scripted bs, no matter the working material. This show, the moonshiner show, Amish Mafia, etc......do they really expect you to believe that a network, etc., are all filming unpaid people doing notoriously illegal activities and other debauchery in an unscripted manner and broadcasting it to the world? Ok, a large portion of the less than free thinking population, sure, but for those of us who prefer to see things for what they are, it just makes it idiotic.

At the end they were racing at an airport so it was not really as illegal as it claims to be.
Was still pretty good...

According to "Chief" it wasnt abandoned... It was a friend of a friend of a friend that got them in for a couple of hours. In reality...an abandoned airstrip would be the perfect back drop for the shownto pull off the whole street racing thing without getting caught.
Although that white mustang def did a multi gear pull on a real road. Any locals recognize any of the locations???

We tried to watch it but couldn't make it past the second commercial break. Why did they keep referring to them as the nations fastest "street cars" but every time the went to race they were loading and unloading off trailers? I couldn't take the "drama" and switch to adult swim on cartoon network!
Just for the record, the fastest street cars in the country can be found on Hot Rod magazine's Drag Week. 5 tracks, 5 days, 1,000+ miles, no support vehicles, and no trailers.Last edited by 96LT1355Z28; 06-11-2013 at 04:00 PM.

I've went out racing on a old shut down airport runway, we got caught and got tickets. Only ones that stuck were the trespassing, can't get street racing on private property I guess, or at least not that time around.
