Default RIP Gail Cahall @ Cahall Performance Transmissions & American-Powerhouse

    GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/gale-c-cahall

Hey all, Gail has recently passed away and I wanted to share the GoFundMe link here, which is geared towards covering her funeral expenses. I know there's not much traffic on LTXTech these days, but everyone knew of their business(es) here and feel she deserves a proper send off.

Feel free to share your experience with the Cahalls!

I had them build my 60e and sent numerous friends to them, hung out with them at car shows and the OC cruise, etc - so this isn't a story about the first time we met. I ran to the Cahall compound with my Stepdad years ago. Oddly enough, we had my real Dad's tranmission to drop off for a rebuild (4L60E). Frank and Gail came out to greet us and we chit chatted for probably 20 or 30 minutes. We finally dropped it off with Frank in their driveway, and my Stepdad was driving this junk little 90s 1500 work truck with a V6, single cab long bed. We go to leave and the starter died. I am not kidding, it was like 8:40PM and the nearest part store was about to close. I pulled the starter in record time, and Gail ran me to Autozone in her Dodge truck. We hustled to the counter, got a starter, and were on our way in about 20 minutes. Frank and Gail were so accommodating with tools and emotional support lol.

That trans is still in my Dads's truck, with about 40+k miles on it. Driven every day. It was "Frank's" stock rebuild with a ProTorque converter in a 2000 Silverado 4.great. I use Frank's name in quotes, because it's really more than just a stock rebuild. It will definitely outlast the truck as the frame is just about done for.

I do not know and the information hasn't been released that I am aware of.
