first Zbody kill
so after i did my american duty today by voting, i was going to empty my nitrous bottle and fill the gas tank up. as i am going out to make my last hit to finish off the last few lbs of nitrous i see a 5gen camaro ss coming up behind me. so i slow down and we get side by side at the light in the front. i look over and its an elderly man prolly in his late 60's. he looks at me and i give him a nod as to say nice car. he nods back. the light goes green and we both drive away like normal. i think to my self well he wont race me. were doing about 30 mph and seems he is not interested. just as i hit the switch to dis-arm the nitrous system. i hear this roar beside me and look over to see the nose of this camaro begin to lift as the old man lays in the throttle hard. i crush the pedal in my car to the floor and re-arm my system to get the juice flowing. he got the jump on me and has about a car and a half before my car comes to life. by 60 mph i had got the car back and was reeling in the last half of his car. At 80mph i had a full car on him and was beging to walk away hard. i shut it down at about the same time he does right around 100mph. we come back down to the posted speed of XXXmph and get door to door and give each other a gentleman's smile and nod as we go our separate ways.
i burned my first 5th Gen Camaro SS ... that was so much fun.Last edited by zooguy; 11-06-2012 at 01:37 PM. Reason: edited for my safety (popo)

I want some of my brothers 09 SS if he ever drives it again, riding in a Blackhawk attack helicopter for years has messed up his back to the point that he cant drive it anymore.

Wait wait wait.... so you're saying you went to vote in your local precinct (somewhere in OK) then ran down to Mexico for a street race? I mean, I see where you've said you slowed down to the posted speed of xxx but I'm pretty sure no where in the US has a posted speed limit in the triple digits.....

I once beat a speed contest (Street racing) ticket back when I was 18 by describing what a real drag race was to the judge and saying that " I just got on it a little and let off at 40 mph" which was the posted speed limit because I started pulling the other car and didnt want to waste my gas on him.
Keep in mind that this was many years ago and they do not let stuff like this go anymore. If you don't stand behind our MIlitary then feel free to stand in front of them. <---- This is my oldest son (PROUD DAD HERE) Mike (just plain mad) Madman337 1993 Camaro Z/28 A4 all stock other than a muffler and LCAs @292K+ miles. 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche. 1970 Pontiac Firebird. 1972 Camaro, 1994 Corvette, 17 Fusion Sport AWD V6 Twin Turbo

Was this around the same time when they would dump your beer out and take your pot when you got pulled over? LOL

UUUMMM well not to date myself but yes it was back in 1987 and yes they did used to pour your beer out when they caught you and far as the pot thing goes they would take that too but the funny thing is that I didnt even know it was in the truck I was riding in.
I think the judge got a kick out of me or he just got laid ect I dunno but he did let me go saying that he better not see me in his court room again or there was gonna be trouble, could just be dumb kid luck on my part because the guy in the other Camaro tried to run over a Motor officer trying to get away and I pulled right on over when the officer red lighted us.If you don't stand behind our MIlitary then feel free to stand in front of them.
