The main issue had nothing to do with turbo kit and all to do with idiot who assembled it. Coolant hose was shifted and should be fine now, wasn't leaking just wanted to be safe.

See that turbo feed line? The other end at the block has a 90* on it. Guess where that 90* end should have been?

    Yeeeeeeaaaaa.

Random mods that won't make me any faster, go go go

Never liked the raked 4x4 look I have with 28s in the rear, see below

    Installed 1.25 drop BMR springs

Def picked up the front with the new rear squat

And since I had the "stock" holley screen laying around, moar data display!

Working car status? Better fix that.

Time to fix something that wasn't broke.

    Out with the old

    In with the new

    Proof of concept

Goal is to make a soft start cooling fan setup. Replacing the old mechanical relays with new solid state relays which allow for PWM driving. Still playing with the driving frequency ( you can hear that grind noise in video of fan not liking the low frequency) Currently just using a TPS vs RPM 2D table with duty cycle filling it.

End goal will be a slow soft start as engine temps rise, versus the old sudden fan on current inrush.

Holley is very cool stuff for those of us who can't leave anything alone.

stay above 18hz for a fan. fan motors generally dont like less.

Remember this is DC voltage and the frequency is just what the SSR is switching on & off at.

    I think.

Dunno if DC motors care about pulsed frequency as long as Vpk is within rating. I would put a flyback diode across the fans just to be safe.

There are pieces of audio equipment that drive DC fans off the speaker jacks. Granted, the power consumed by the fan is really small compared to the speakers, but the fan is happy with everything in the audio band, ie 20Hz-20kHz.

correct, brushed motors generally are unhappy about that.
