New to ltx, here from ca.
Hello everyone I'm new to this forum. Just checking in to see how many people here are from the ventura county area..

Not to far away from you. Up in San Luis Obispo County, Paso Robles to be exact. I travel down to Santa Paula/Fillmore late in the summer to see family.

Hey , ok so how hard is it to pass emissions test here in california once changing the cam. Im wanting to do a cam swap but want to keep smog legal.... What do you guys suggest. Im all bolt ons right now..

There are only a handful of off the shelf cams around that are known to pass without much work. Marc runs a Lloyd Elliot if you want to consider a custom grind. Not sure how well it does in regard to smog, but I'm sure he can give you some feedback. The larger ones will definitely be a challenge. I was looking at a Crane 227 myself. Read quite a bit of positive feedback from nearly all owners of the 227. A Hot Cam is another comparable one, but I think the Crane seems to respond better from what I've seen. California definitely doesn't make things easy for us.
