how hard is it to modify them?? is it that much of a difference over stock or the impala gaskets to use these gaskets? im ganna be doing a full overhaul and wouldnt mind squeezing a lil extra power outta it over a gasket if i can..

What's involved in modding them I guess all I would have to do is lay the lt1 gasket over the sbc gasket n trim what's needed? Is it worth it power wise?

I am late to this however I see no problem with the Impala head gasket replacement. You are
not replacing the pistons or rods with aftermarket and you are not porting the heads or even changing the valve size...... So the car will remain a bolt on car!!!!!!!

its ether 4% or 6% increase per point in compression i believe it is 4%. with that being said its 1 point and you prolly have 280ish so get to calculating.
