Tunning and dyno results.
So, yesterday I was at Fresno Performance from 8 am the 4:16 pm.
Tunning was done by Chuck Summer's of Whipple Industries.
Stock 143k mile short block. Stock fuel pump. Stock 48mm TB. Stock clutch, stock 3.23's. LE2 heads, LE ported intake, LE 223/230 .565/.565 112CL. Aeromotive FPR, Pacesetter mids, Magnaflow cat and cat back. Fastbird 4 wire 02 conversion, Full emissions. 160 stat, 32lb injectors, heavy ass 1.6 SS roller rockers.
The car more than met my goals in terms of power production, But the biggest thing is the driveability that Chuck was able to do. I would highly recomend him for your tunning needs if you are anywhere near central CA.
I will post the sheet in a few days when I have time to get it scanned into the computer.
382 RWHP and 351 RWTQ on a Dynojet 248.

Those are some great numbers for a stock tb, mids, and mechanical waterpump. I made 376rwhp/377tq at 6k rpm with a runout issue. Hope to have it fixed and make a full pull to 6500rpm and make up some power. Still a kick in the balls on my side running a 58mm tb, ewp, and longtubes in the same power neighbourhood.

Thanks guys. Been a while since I have checked in. Car is still running good. Have had a few small problems lately. I do have a Holley 58 mm TB to throw on that has the N20 ports for a dry shot and I did put an MSD digital 6 ignition box on. The ignition box smothed the motor out even a bit more and may have picked up a few more pony's according to the butt dyno. Got to get it back to the dyno for a bit more tweeking and to lean out the idle a bit, really close on my HC numbers for smog. Stock fuel pump died and had to change it out with a 255 pump. Not bad for 160k miles.

The 93 still use the Eprom chip that has to be flashed after the tune is written. I am not sure what he was using as I wasn't paying much attention. I know he was plugged into the OBD I port for datalogging, but he also had an emulator plugged into the PCM an was doing real time tunning changes on the fly. When he was done with the tunning, he flashed my stock Eprom with the final tune. I think the emulator was from TTS, it was old that is for sure. I just remember him opening the trunk of his car and pulling two big boxes of cables and conectors to find the right stuff.
I am trying to convince Steve Cole of TTS to tune my car. He said he might be able to do it if I leave the car with him for a month.93 LT1 M6, LE, 223/230 .565/.565 112, Stg2 heads, Ported intake, 32lb injectors. Pacesetter mids. 1.6RR Tunned by Chuck Summer's. 382/351
