    Default Going for eights Sunday

Well the fogger is actually wired now. The car has left on a .075 jet without any problems. I have a .028 jet in the fogger. I'm putting the 100hp jets back in the plate. My intentions are to make a pass on the small jets. Then try to leave on the fogger with a .6-.8 delay in it. If the plugs look good after a few passes its time to leave on the a .055 or .057 then bring in the fogger in 1.2 seconds out and see what it does.

I did manage to get the afco front shocks on. I also put some new tires on the car. MT sportsmans on the front and Hoosier QTP's on the back. I put an actual 12" of rubber out back on each side with the 28x14.5's. The tires are about an inch shorter then the MT slicks I've been running.

Whats the bets on what happens?

I changed shocks and tires and the car wasn't leaving straight. The second pass I had a problem at the line with a relay after getting all that worked out I was down to one kit. I can't post times right now because of a possible bet on a different forum but I did run a new best time.

    Heres a couple of pics.

I didnt get a pic of the last pass but it was a 1.310 60' on the back tires I will have a series of those pics in a couple days.

A video will be up shortly. I didn't get the last pass on vid so the wife is in trouble for that. I added a little timing and loosened the shocks up two clicks on the last pass. It felt good. Highest the front tires had been off the ground on this thing.

Well I don't think the guy that called me out is going to lock in but I made 6 passes. The car went fairly straight on a .063 jet with the new shocks put a .075 jet in with 20* total timing and the car was turning right leaving the line. Had to lift once when I crossed the center line. The car was going 9.6's on the .075 jet with 1.35-1.38 60' times. After get the weigth moved back were it was needed to make the car go straight I added 1.5* timing and the car went

    60' 1.310
    330' 3.832
    1/8 5.985 @ 113.93
    1000 7.860
    1/4 9.458 @ 140.25

That was the third pass on a ten pound bottle so it got a little rich. Theres more in that shot. But the PLC is going in and I'm not going to run into anymore problems with running 2 kits with one window switch, one WOT switch, plus it is going be easier to troble shoot.

I'm putting double adjustable rear shocks on the car this week. After talking to the chassis guy that built my fabbed rearend and torque arm I'm going to lower the LCA one hole to help with antisquat and lower the torque arm a little to take some of the hit back out of the tires but the year is about over here. Hopefully the rain misses us on Saturday.
