Default First time at the track with the T/A. Tell me what ya think!

Took the T/A to the track Friday and made 4 passes. I don't know how to tell if the times I ran were good for my set up or not so I wanted to get a few opinions about it. I have a 6 speed LT1 with headers, SPEC stage 1 clutch, 3" summit X pipe, BMR LCA's, Eibach front springs, stock rear springs, and BMR tubluar SFC's. Weight reduction wise, I have removed the following: Spare tire and jack, padding under carpet, A/C compressor, A/C and Heat unit, Heater core and blower, vents behind dash, radio, power steering, front sway bar, air bags (drivers and passengers side), power seat controls and wiring and I think that is all. I was running on 275/40ZR17 Nexen N3000 street tires. On my first 3 passes, I had really bad first time track jitters and missed 3rd gear. 4th run was way better and actually grabbed 3rd. hehe! Here is what I ran on my passes.

Looking good. Could be better but its all in the launch and shifting with a 6 spd. You were sleeping at the light your first few runs but on your 4th you almost got a perfect time. You got consistently better. THATS GOOD. Means you know the name of the game. What RPM are you launching at? Are you hooking? Are you getting the tires hot/how long are you burning out? Posi working?

With practice you should be able to shed some time off. Practice makes perfect. Get out there every weekend
