Calipers got here today. They are test fit with the Kore3 brackets and everything looks great. Sourcing some rotors and pads as I type this so I think another $100 or so and I'll have the brakes worked out besides the hardlines that I need to bend still. A few more suspension parts and I'll beable to assemble the suspension and frame to get it rolling around. I'll get some pics of the mocked up calipers when it is light out again.

Have you looked into EBC brakes? I put some on my Excursion in Dec and holy crap. My lifted 8200 lb truck with 37" tires now stops faster then my Chevelle..... im going to grab some for the Chevelle the next time its time for brakes.

I have looked into them and heard nothing but amazing things. As of right now though I have a deal on some rotors and pads through a sponsor on corvetteforum for 110 shipped. Gotta go where the deals are for now.

Alright, my rotors and pads should be here by mid week so I can finish test fitting. Just need upper and lower rear control arms and front swaybar to finish off the suspension. Need to modify the rear brakes slightly, then I'll start painting and putting everything together.
Also, the time has come to make some decisions and this decision will be to finish this project so I can enjoy the hell out of it. With that said, my 2000 SS will be for sale very shortly. Going to price it for a quick sale as it does need some interior work.

Tons of pictures are going to be here soon. Rotors are due here this wednesday so I can make sure the rotors fit with no issues.
The SS will be for sale next weekend.

Rotors and pads got here last night and they are some nice stuff. Checked clearances with the wheels and bad luck with the fronts. They need about .5" - .75" more backspacing to clear the calipers. I also have a set of C5 wagon wheels that I picked up a couple weeks ago that I haven't got to check yet but I know they'll clear. Just not sure if they'll clear the frame under full lock turns. We'll see. May look into an adapter style spacer.
