Variocam, Dumb idea?
I've helped a friend rebuild his Porsche, and in his model it was equipped with Variocam. He gets the best of both worlds really in camshafts, both street and track. Just read about it and tell me...

This is the cam I ordered from Lloyd. It should be here in a day or two, and in the car a day or two after that. I dig it!

hehe a cc306 on a stock stall and stock bottom end? I know it'd be mean as hell, but not sure about that one. I've always known that cam on M6 cars. Seen 1 with an auto tranny, but needed a brake...

Is 375 good for a cc503 car (this was my first LTx build)? When the motor was finished and driven for about 1000 miles, it dyno'd at 371 @ 6075 rpm with the hotcam and LE2 heads on a baseline tune at...

Head builder says the 222/228 would be a wiser choice, and still give plenty of driveability on the road. I just know either would be a decent upgrade from the hotcam.

Looking at a new cam right now. With the current hotcam, it does leave you hungery for more. I started looking at the cc503, but the gains weren't exactly looking to be worth it for a swap. Yea,...

Fleetwood LT1 to a Formula
Well, I spun a few bearings in my 95 Formula today. In search of a used motor, I found the LT1 in a Fleetwood. I figure it was an auto tranny (so you know it wasnt pushed hard), and had 88K miles and...
