After locking down the set screw, turn the nut and set screw together an additional 1/8 or so. I've ran 3 different sets in the last 12 years and never had one come loose.

The 611 lock is to be used with lash caps. The 795 retainer with the 613 lock is the std 10* set up.

This is true, mine reads 40-45 cold and 0 warm at idle. It moves when I give it gas. 5w30 Mobil 1, been the same for the last 12 years. Must be the Lucas sender and gauge.

IMO 3:73's, Yank SS 3600, 1-2 shift@ 6400, shift kit and add a X pipe. You may need a better tire.

I agree, I chased that same noise for a year. It ended up being the belt. Let it warm up to reveal the noise and then remove the belt to see if it stops.

93's did not have a knock module but can have the knock sensor desensitized through a tune. 94 up has the replaceable knock module.

The 93 seems to respond better to the mods. I've ran the same bolt-on mail order tune for 9 years

I run the the nsa Scorpion 1.7's and they are pretty quiet compared to the Promags. I am curious why you would run such a heavy weight oil. 15/40 Rotella is Big Rig oil, Mac, Peterbuilt etc.

I've ran them for the last 9 years, they fit fine. You'll have to clearance the alt. a little. Search, there are write ups with pics. Leave the baffles out.

That casting number is for the LT1 manifold. The LT4 won't fit the LT1 heads properly without machining. The LT4 manifold is red, has no egr valve and has added material above the ports.
