yea man, im going to take it to a shop and get a real quote first. I just looked a thread about QP 9" rear but he only got the housing and axels for 1050. I read he said it didn't include everything....

yea this car had the original rear end 240k with pretty much a fresh 383, so it lasted a long time. As for third gens I went ahead and got a 9bolt that some third gen were optioned with.

well at least it held the night before while racing a 5th gen and put him in his place lol. but yea I want to look at the 9inch or 12 bolt..

10 bolt 373 moser axels, my neighbor suggested I for the price of a rebuild look into a 9inch.

1300 bucks for a full rebuild from a good shop here in town
