I did two quick and dirty comparisons of my current Holley timing map (the base cal) vs. a NA Solomon tune I paid for and my own stock pcm 2bar SD mess with the rescaling undone. They look like this:

This is only in vacuum, no racecar stuff yet. Some thoughts...
- Thing is reaaaaally down on timing with the stock LS cal. Probably why it feels like a slug off idle and with low throttle.
- My 2bar SD tune ran out of resolution starting at 40kPa and below which is why all of the numbers are the same down there and the peak is around 50kpa.
- My 2bar SD tune is considerably softer in vacuum than Solomon's as I've always thought his stuff was too aggressive. My IATs were never too far off of ambient in vac and the drag of a blower venting to atmosphere isn't a crazy amount. Don't think an NA tune would be worlds apart under atmospheric pressure.
- I unfortunately have to assume that the indexing of the EFI 24x wheel is on the money with the Opti, which it probably isn't. There's probably a few degrees of fudge in there.
Gonna dial it up a bit and see how it goes. I also need to play with the EOIT stuff, but we'll get there.
