I just purchased a 1995 GMC 1500 with a 4.3 v6. I have a LT1 engine that I'm anxious to utilize. You're project seems very similar to my hopeful one, so if wouldn't be too much trouble. Would it be possible for you to explain the step by step process of what I'll be going through? Thanks.

just use all the truck stuff it will bolt right to the lt1, its all compatible. the flywheel will bolt right to the crank and the bell housing will bolt right to the lt1 block. but make sure you have the rotating assembly balanced with the the nv3500 flywheel

I am getting ready to do a swap similar to yours. What clutch parts did you use to mount the nv3500 to lt1?
