Vortech supercharger/aftercooler kit for LTx Camaro/Firebird's. This is a complete setup designed for cars already running upgraded fuel systems. I'm running the Racetronix dual in-tank setup. No FMU will be included. It would be much safer to run a larger set of injectors/larger fuel pump with a proper tune.

Includes:

BLOWER SETUP
-Vortech V-1 S-trim head unit
-6" and 7" crank pulleys
-3.33" and 2.75" blower pulleys
-head unit mounting brackets w/hardware
-tensioner
-2 belts (one for 6" crank pulley/3.33" blower pulley setup, one for 7" crank pulley/2.75" blower pulley setup)
-Brad brand intake tube w/ K&N filter (I will include the flex hose intake tubing as well)
-all inlet tubing and elbows
-Vortech metal elbow to TB
-all clamps and rubber couplings
-oil line to supercharger
-oil drain line from blower to oil pan
-stock Vortech blow off valve w/vacuum lines and fittings

AFTERCOOLER SETUP
-Vortech aftercooler w/piping and heat shields
-Aftercooler heat exchanger
-Ice/water tank
-Ford Lightning water pump

The kit is currently on the car and running perfectly. It makes about 14-15psi with the current pulley combination (7"/2.75") on a 355ci, ported LT4 heads, decent size blower cam). I am selling this kit because I'll be taking the car in a different direction. The kit will be removed from the vehicle when payment is received.

Supercharger - $1900 shipped
Aftercooler - $1000 shipped
Both Supercharger and Aftercooler - $2700 shipped

Good deal!

I'm not too familaiar with blown lt1 set ups. Does the blower use the same belt as the engine accessories or is there a second crank pulley and the blower has its own belt?

Is it a 6 or 8 rib?

what kinda power are you making with it?

mpe331lx - There is a second pully/belt driven off of the crank. Here is how it's setup (without the aftercooler in the picture)

I "believe" it's an 8 rib pulley setup. For some reason, i'm drawing a blank but i'll check when I get home. I don't want to misinform anyone so don't take my word for it just yet.

tomsws6 - I never got around to dynoing it but I expect no less than 600rwhp.

If you want to sell any of the parts seperately I'd be interested in the 7" crank pulley...

It is an 8rib belt.

I hope to sell everything together but if I do decide to break it up, the 7" pulley is yours.

Thanks for confirming that 8 rib pulley.

Is the intake tubing the solid single piece or the 2 (maybe 3) piece? Bump for ya, hell of a good deal. I wouldn't recommend the kit to anyone without a built engine already though. :shiner:

I actually have both intakes. The Brad Brand tube is the solid one, and I also have the original flex tubing as well. You'll see an extra 2 psi or so with the solid intake tube.

Sorry for the possibly dumb questions but

Can this be pullied down to where it would only put in about 7psi of boost, and will not having the after cooler make a huge difference at all?

Definitely not dumb questions!

The blower definitely can be pullied down to provide 6-7psi of boost. The included 6"/3.33" pulley combination should produce about 6-7lbs of boost. When you're ready to up the boost to some serious levels (14-15lbs), pop on the included 7"/2.75" pulley combo and have at it. That combo will require, at least, forged pistons, a fuel system built to support that amount of boost, and a proper tune.

The aftercooler cools the intake charge. Cooler, denser air creates better combustion. When running the aftercooler, you can run a little bit more timing without running into knock. Don't go crazy with the timing tho or else you'll eventually be picking up pieces of motor off of the ground:shame:. The aftercooler, however, is not a requirement. You will see a significant increase in power with the blower alone.

If you have any more questions, fire away!

LMAO!!!! That actually made me laugh. If everything doesnt sell my Sunday, the kits are going up on ebay. I'll pull all the extra stuff (pulleys, hard intake tube) out and sell them separately.

i no this is a weird question to ask but you wouldnt be interested in a new Nitrous Works 150psi kit, 4 factoy 95 trans am wheels (excellent condition) with tires (95% tread left), and $500 bucks would you?

BlownFormula

Dropping the price to 2500 for the whole kit. It's going up on ebay tonight if nobody wants it
